October 13, 2026

This episode returns us to the saga of Manus AI, which suffered a forced divorce, but is now clean and perhaps mean. It then notes Google’s effort to sterilize its China supply chain. Following this, it tracks Nvidia chip sales to China which aren’t getting the hundreds of thousands of expected bytes. It later turns to TikTok or TikTok US which is enjoying a resurgence of sorts in the United States (U.S.). Afterwards, it delves into the challenges that Shein and Temu are facing in Europe and, at least in the former case, the U.S. Shifting to Europe, it gives attention to the Wingtech and Nexperia and the Pirelli sagas, as well as plethora of new sagas involving Weichai Group and Ferretti in Italy, SAIC in Spain, and COSCO in Germany. The episode closes by treating Lululemon cultural missteps in China and Starbucks Korea’s cultural catastrophe in Korea.
