Kasetsart University Faculty of International Maritime Studies (Thailand) hosts Dr. Jean-Marc F. Blanchard for special campus tour

Following the conclusion of the 3^rd International Conference in Southeast Asia on the Future of Maritime Technology & Use of the Sea 2025 (“SEA the Future 2025”) held in Pattaya, Thailand, the Organizers of SEA the Future 2025 gave Dr. Blanchard a guided tour of the Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, Thailand.  There, Dr. Blanchard viewed classroom facilities and KU IMS infrastructure such as the marine engine simulation room, the marine navigation training room, the waves power research and development center, and the naval architecture and marine engineering laboratory.  Dr. Blanchard presented Dr. Cherdvong Saengsupavanich, Professor Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University with copies of the Mr. & Mrs. S.H. Wong Center for the Study of Multinational Corporations (“Wong MNC Center”)’s three-book series on China’s Maritime Silk Road Initiative in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa and the Middle East and two of the Wong MNC Center’s books on Chinese overseas ports including one on ports in Europe and the Americas and another focusing on ports in Southeast and South Asia.  These books will be featured in the Faculty’s library after remodeling work is completed.
