Dr. Bas Hooijmaaijers becomes Wong MNC Center Assistant Director

Dr. Bas Hooijmaaijers has become Assistant Director of the Wong MNC Center. He also serves as Assistant Professor and Chenhui Research Fellow in the School of Advanced International and Area Studies at East China Normal University (China). He has published on China and the BRICS in leading journals including the Journal of Common Market Studies and Global Governance, and has contributed to ad hoc studies for the European Parliament. His research activities include projects on European Union policymaking towards China, Chinese investment in Europe, and the global power shift towards the Asia-Pacific Region.
