Samsung in Vietnam
Samsung Electronics constitutes the largest South Korean investor in Vietnam, having invested $17.3 billion in eight plants and one R&D center. Vietnam serves as a major Samsung cell phone production base as well as a center for developing cell phone hardware and software. Samsung is a major contributor to Vietnamese exports and employs more than 100,000 people.
